ALTERED VISIONS
VISUAL TRIPS  INTO THE STATES OF CONSCIOUSNEES

Altered visions as "altered states" expressions but also as visions of the variety, of the
neverending possible ways to “be and became” in any communication.
OFF999 is the view-finder that reflects the networks of the differences during the creation/perception of images-sounds-environments. It's the expansion further the reality lands, it's a network of the diversities as a description of the variety, as a distorting optics that makes larger, distorts, cancels, changes the measurements, reverses the perspective, sets to zero the distances or amplifies them, transforms, misrepresents and shows. Fading cinema as disintegration of  Cinema.
From this perspective, independent cinema reproposes itself as an alterating substance or as an evidence of the varieties; a series of visions breaking the monolithic imposition of the cinematographic language, wich is done by the biggest productive&distributive system. The idea is to create spaces of other visions in wich images and altered states of consciousness hybridize.
So, visionary incitations will instigate the creation's polychromy, producing and really assuming images. For an OFF reissue, we assemble thematic stuff about:

• TAKE_OFF - a section dedicated to the relationship between cinema and drugs-related consciousness modification
  
  
  Other sections:

• TURN_OFF - Turn off the cinema. An inquiry about  Carmelo Bene: "a cinema made by who have never handle a video camera, a cinema seen by a blind audience ... a festival of professional criminals". Cinema and immediatism into the contraction of the body and the language.

• FAKE_OFF - The dismembered body in progress; the building of environments in a synaesthetic mode, realizing an extreme display of the *de-subjectification*, of the dismemberment of the single and inalienable subject, of the multiplication of vanishing lines.
